Enhance Water Filtration with Aquaboon 4 PACK Micron Coconut Cartridge Review

Carbon filters stop odors for an average of 28 days. Now replacement for 90 days, perfect fit and at the right price. I hope the supplier doesn't see that, otherwise they might increase the price. I am very impressed with them compared to carbon filters from about 6 different manufacturers.

We use well water. We have a home-made 6-pipe filter system, two or three filter banks. We load it with two sediment filters and four coconut charcoal filters to fill six filters. We changed all six of these filters every 30-45 days. These coir filters have dramatically improved the flavor and clarity of our homemade water!

I use them in my reverse osmosis water filter system. I only have a 3rd stage and the reverse osmosis membrane needs to be dechlorinated. So I use one for pre-filtering (sludge and chlorine removal) and as a post-filtering (final polish). Since the pre-filter does most of the work, I replace the post-filter with the pre-filter and add a new one of the theses to the post-filter. I do this every 3 months and the water has been great. Great price for 4.

Tried two of the 4 filters and each of them gave an unpleasant aftertaste. So I'm wondering what's causing this in the filter? And when I took the filter cartridge out of our filter housing, I noticed what looked like rust spots on the outside of the cartridge. I would love to return them for a refund but I don't even see where this is possible with this seller. I haven't looked into it yet, but I wanted to at least write this review to warn others against buying these filters!

These appear to be typical carbon block cartridges. However, it took too long to wash them off. I have about 60psi of pressure on the filters, two of which are in parallel, so the flow back pressure is lower and the flow rate remains acceptable, and the contact time is increased and the carbon dust keeps flowing in the water. Purchased Aquaboon 5 micron sediment along with matching Aquaboon 5 micron coconut shell carbon block cartridges for Watts-Premier reverse osmosis system. Publish the same assessment for both subjects. These generic filters have about the same apparent quality and device design as well-known brands in big boxes. They fit perfectly in my suitcases and are great value for money. They give off a very strong chemical aftertaste when installed. This chemical taste lasted at least 3 full tanks of gas

I use these filters throughout my home filtration system and under the gooseneck faucet in the kitchen. The gooseneck filter is just an extra guarantee that my coffee and drinking water are always as good as possible. There is not as much soot particles when changing the cartridge of this brand that other filters seem to leave behind.
