The idea is cool and yea the addition of a glass container on your counter is a great look, however one of the advertised uses is for keeping coffee beans fresh, which it did not do so well at. Coffee beans give off CO2 which can harm the flavor/freshness of them. This container seals that gas in with the beans, leading to them becoming stale more quickly. If you're not looking for that functionality in this product, it's for you.
