We LOVE this ladder. It is perfect for almost all of our mountaineering needs. My husband was able to take it up to the attic to swap out some lightbulbs, and since it folds compactly and isn't too heavy, the job was a breeze. He liked the wide and comfortable rungs for his boots. I will use the ladder for the Christmas decorations. I'm usually afraid of climbing stairs, so I'm very happy to be able to use this. This year I will feel confident enough to climb to the top of our 9 foot tree and decorate it. My husband is delighted. 😀 Basically it is light, safe and easy to store. Excellent purchase. Added 12/21/18: I had to make this addition as I could personally use the ladder for my Christmas decorations. What I want to say: FANTASTIC! For the first time all the heights that my husband had to decorate could be decorated by me. It's very easy to use. The steps are very comfortable (once I even jumped barefoot). It meant so much to me to decorate my Christmas tree. At 64, I wasn't allowed to buy a 9-foot Christmas tree, but I didn't realize how difficult it would be to decorate it. With this ladder, everything has become much easier. Every home should have one!
