Review on 💻 X-MEDIA XM-NA3500: High-Speed Gigabit Ethernet Network Card for Windows 10 & Linux by Antonio Gonzalez

The first one I got didn't work on Windows 10 64 bit. I requested a replacement which was delivered the next day (a point for the seller). However, I had the same problems with the second one: installed the card on my computer, ran the windows autoinstaller, and the card couldn't contact my DHCP server to get an address. So on a whim I decided to see what happens when I specify a different driver - Windows 7 64 bit. And it works! So I thought, OK, now that I have internet access again, let's see what happens when I run Update Driver and let Windows decide which driver is best. Back to the same problem - I can't contact my DHCP server and get the right address on my network. Back to the driver for Windows 7. I've tried checking the X-Media site to see if there is a newer driver - no, there are NO drivers on the X-Media site. I tried contacting the seller for help troubleshooting the issue. So far there is no answer. So NOT easy to install, hence NO value for money and NO technical support. I'm glad to see that so many other people have been able to connect and play with this device - I wish this was my experience!
