Several reviewers have mentioned that this "square" is not a square. DYE. When they put red paint on it, it looks like it's sprayed on the important part of the "handle," right where the rule is. Also, the pain was only on one side and not the other. This resulted in a very slight squareness imperfection. I took a utility knife and scraped off a blob of paint where the ruler rests on the stylus and double checked for squareness. Now she is perfect. It's a great design and I find it very easy to use and is very accurate now. It's also VERY easy to take out the ruler and use it alone and then put it back in.
