You have to remove the wax on top
I have been using Bonne Belle Lipsmackers for decades. This product sucks, it's like wiping a candle on my lips - waxy and awful. I cannot recommend this product and will be returning mine. Update: Turns out they now put a wax coating on the top of the balm when you first roll it. So it was like a candle on my lips. I just had to wipe them with a paper towel a couple of times to remove the top wax and then they worked fine. I've upped this to 4 stars because while the product works, it's a hassle to wipe each individual balm stick over a paper towel. I've never had to do this before - before, the product was perfect right out of the box.
