You will need an adapter for your vacuum cleaner before using the bags. For strange reasons, this is not mentioned in the user manual. I called Hoover support to ask why this information is not included with the machine. I've been told some people don't use vacuum bags. Given the low cost of the two additional offerings in the owner's manual, I got the impression that Hoover didn't care about its customers.
