Even better than the thicker auto microfiber towels I bought from Costco, there were 36 in a pack. I ended up with 2 packs of these and for me (someone who washes their car maybe 3 times a week) they last about 3 months after washing after each use. I only got 4 of these packs delivered yesterday and I used them straight out of the box with no prewash and they were to die for, really didn't leave streaks like my costco packs, didn't have to go through the same spot twice, powerful absorbent from the side with high pile and absorb even more dirt and grime. Now I bought 48 of these and ended up using about 25 for the FULL portion of my 2020 Chevy Malibu. This meant using them properly and changing towels every time one of them got too dirty to scratch the paint. Many people are very conservative and only use two or even ONE of these towels to dry their entire car. Good luck polishing those twists later for a bargain price. Everyone. I'm going to tell you all the secrets of washing these towels, which I don't see anyone leaving a sufficiently detailed review on how to properly wash and care for these things. WASHING: Always wash separately, never with other fabrics or garments. People will say you can use detergent to clean them, but you will reduce the absorbency of these fabrics. ALWAYS use SPECIAL microfiber cleaners. I use Chemical Microfiber Detergent, an orange liquid. Add about 6 caps on medium duty and WASH IT IN HOT WATER after using it on your dirty, grimy, oily vehicle. Hot water will not loosen trapped dirt and grime that microfiber lifts off your car. And don't worry. hot water won't hurt them, but the dryer is another story. DO NOT USE HEAT TO DRY IT. If you can use AIR FLUFF without the dryer's heat function, they'll dry themselves in less than 20 minutes and literally feel as new when you take them out of the box. If your dryer doesn't have a lint feature, use the lowest heat setting and let them sit for about 15 minutes, by which time they should dry. Don't leave them in a heated dryer for too long, even on low temperatures, too much heat and over time they will become thinner and much less absorbent, I learned this the hard way with my Costco Micros. Hope this helps many of you.
