The wifi dongle is huge with the necessary cable adapter. Pictured is the key on the cable adapter on the scanner itself - remember the scanner is an 8" display, full size scanner body. Most modern scanners use an adapter (Bluetooth) that fits in the palm of your hand. This makes sense as the original V6 was a wired version. As such, downloads are (potentially) faster compared to older versions that only use 2.4GHz WiFi. There have not been as many updates as other comparable brands (Ancel/Mucar/ThinkCar/ThinkTool) so these scanners are already updated. Think of the number of updates, those other scanners needed about 100 updates for manufacturer and maintenance applications - this V6 PRO+ needed a few dozen.
