I first tried an unnamed quick connector with a similar design. Unsurprisingly, they don't interlock tightly and can be pulled apart with a slight pinch. It was incredibly dangerous. Tossed them in the trash and ordered these. These KMC links snap firmly into place and can only be disassembled with quick release pliers. They work great with my Shimano 105 11 speed drivetrain and chain. I love that they are gold so they stand out against my silver chain and it's easy to tell you've oiled the entire chain. I carry the second one in my chain breaker multi tool toolbox as a spare in case I break the chain a few miles from home.
