It works and now that I've installed it I don't have to worry about a broken plug. I have some design suggestions (or caveats for you to consider) for this. First, as mentioned in the previous review, the wires are not color-coded. This isn't a deal breaker per se, but it would be infinitely easier to immediately attach the connector instead of cutting the wire, attaching it, cutting the wire, attaching it, etc. Second, it would be easier. It would be very helpful if another of each butt connector was included because if it's not 100% crimped and the wire slips out you'll get mad. I had a couple of heat shrink/solder connectors to get me through, but if you only relied on the ones that came with them and don't have spares, the only flaw is going to your local parts store. get more. Simply adding another clear connector and another blue connector doesn't add much to the cost.
