I've been looking for the perfect backpack for years

I've been looking for the perfect backpack for years. I walk a lot, 5-8 miles a day. But I never found exactly what I was looking for. I have 6 packs and they are all good for different trips but none of them are perfect for a 3/4 day trip to the woods. My 50 liters are too big. Great for winter camping but too much for fall. I have a 30 liter summer bag, but it's packed so tightly I can't even put a toothpick in it. Finally my Mardingtop Tac has arrived in the mail and I have it packed and ready for my upcoming day of October 4th. This pack is amazing. I'm always torn between lightness and practicality. I love bags and pouches, and all ultralight backpacks have a huge pocket that you can fit all your gear in. Blah! There's nothing worse than rummaging through your big pack for 10-15 minutes trying to find your lip balm that fell on the bottom of your bag because some designers think light weight is better. I finally have a lightweight backpack that's big enough to hold all my gear and has pockets. 8 pockets and pouches to be exact plus a huge pocket for my larger gear like hammock, tarp, sleeping bag and duvet cover. I estimate this bag is about 40 liters with Molle. Yes mall! So I added a water bottle pocket and my big kukuri knife on the outside of the pocket. The empty package weighs approximately 2.5 kg. and fully loaded I weigh 27 pounds for a cool fall hike. Ideal! Now I have a lightweight backpack with pockets and the ability to add extra pockets if needed. I'm a really happy traveler.
