I just love this bin. It has so many uses that I can't imagine why it hasn't been around forever. I read that someone uses it for yarn - great idea! I'm a knitter too and I think this is a great idea. However, it now serves as a storage place for many of our dog's toys. He loves it just like me. Strong, it stands upright, no problem. There's a piece of cardboard you stick in the bottom to reinforce it. Our dog can see his toy through the "window" and he loves it. We used a cardboard box and it looks much better and is useful. Side handles make lifting easier. Pricey in my opinion, but I'll buy it anyway.
