I am very pleased with my purchase. I was concerned after reading a few reviews but decided to try it anyway. Since working from home I have a makeshift office and this particular room has one very large double window. I didn’t want to install hardware into the wall/window frame. So I purchased these shades to help block the light while I work on my computer during the day. I have a sheet I added over the shades with an expandable holder that fits between the large opening. The two of these items blocks the bright sun from coming into the window through that area. Very pleased. Easy to install. I cut the shades to length using a nice kitchen knife. I installed my shade securing one side and working towards the other (after double checking measurement) rather than from the middle out. I tried middle out application as instructed but that didn’t work for me so secured one side and worked across to the other.
