We bought two 8TB versions of this RAID. I was a bit worried when both boxes were opened earlier. They were unsealed, one had coiled cord and the other had zip ties. The first one just couldn't mount at all. We tried a 27-inch iMac, a Dell M3800, and a Dell AIO to be sure, both with and without an additional power cord. It just doesn't show up as connected. The second is actually installed, with an ultra-low transfer rate of 24Mbps. We found that the drive was formatted and named "Mothership" by the previous owner! Both returned and we will not be buying Lacey again. They were bought from Revain approved suppliers, luckily through Prime so returning them was easy but still a major inconvenience.
