These mugs are much better than the Edge mugs. They are much easier to move and provide more consistent suction. I use them for the shoulders. I was in a car accident over a decade ago and my chronic pain got so bad that I started physical therapy. One of the therapists who works with soft tissues for me did cupping and it helped my pain a lot. She suggested I take some cups with me and use them on myself at home. I have previously ordered Edge by Lure (orange label, blue cups) but I am not getting very good results with it. However, they are amazing and I'm so glad I ordered them! I do not treat the same spot until the spots are completely gone, which usually takes 2-3 days maximum. If cupping becomes too painful, I also reduce the suction in that area. Just do what is comfortable for you. It shouldn't hurt so much that you can't take it.
