It doesn't stick. It's annoying but after years of using clumping clay I have to say I'm glad we switched places. We got a new cat who was a "problem poop". That means she poops in baskets, empty or not empty plastic bags, lots of laundry. Anywhere but in the trash can. We swapped the throws in a box (out of four) to see if she liked it. She did! No more surprises! But then the other cats decided they preferred it too. So we switched two to crystals. Clay ones became useless while crystal ones got all the poop abuse. So now we have all four crystals. We have six cats 😑. One of the main advantages I noticed is the lack of garbage tracking. We used to have junk everywhere with sound. This is no longer a problem and sometimes the "wet bedding” problems are gone. Con it's not scoopable. You can scoop out the solid but the urine pools a little at the bottom so it needs a full redo every week and a half rather than the clay you can stretch a little longer. In general there is less smell, no dirty spots on the litter and all cats prefer it. There is also no dust, so cleaning the bedding is much better for this asthmatic. I highly recommend it.
