Got a red plaid for my 5.5 year old (about 42 inches, 40 pounds) when I was 6. They look great and appear well tailored. fluffy inside! Very warm and soft, much thicker than I expected which is great because my daughter wears them in winter. Very stylish and fit her well. They fit just below the ankle without being too tight, in the Compared to other brands, feels a bit short with less room to grow. But at this fantastic price for such good quality, that's no problem. She can tuck the leggings into booties if they look a little short later! You are perfect for now.
