I am using 3 without the original mats in my model. 3 pieces were packed in 1 carton. I would say this is an average weight (which suits me). Others complained about the rubber smell, which I also noticed when opening the box. I soaked all 3 pieces in a bath of Tide liquid detergent for about 1 hour and scrubbed lightly. After drying overnight I installed it in the car. When I put my nose to it, I smell a faint rubbery odor, but when I'm in the car, I don't smell any odor. For the money this is a great price and a great buy I would buy again. Nevertheless, I can make the following suggestions for improvement (very slight and I'm very picky): 1) slightly larger (longer and wider) - 2 fronts can be slightly wider and longer. the back should definitely be wider. Again, I'm very picky and I'm talking about millimeters (not that it's short by an inch). 2) Some edges could be cropped better (some extra material). Again these are 2 very picky and small things. Judging by the price, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
