Sorry but I also had trouble screwing it onto my freon canisters. The FREON came out of the canister connection a bit even after applying as much force as I thought the canister could handle without destroying the canister cap. As a result, I put it on a cylinder, freon was not released. I use a Robinair sensor kit with rubber hoses. The yellow refrigerant hose will NOT fit properly on this adapter. I had to remove the schrader valve from the yellow hose. BEFORE removing the Schrader valve I tried to tighten it but ended up destroying the rubber seal in the hose. Then I removed the schrader valve and rubber gasket/seal from the hose and attached it to the faucet. This allowed freon to enter the system. I suggest NOT to buy this faucet. I ran out of freon and now need to order a new rubber seal for the schrader valve on a brand new hose. What is my fault if I don't read other reviews or contact Robinair for more information before trying to hook up a balloon? Really disappointed me. Would have sent it back but waited too long to use it.
