Excellent adapter. This allows me to convert my vinyl records to digital without actually having a USB player. What I like best is that I didn't have to download any software to transfer it to mp3. It said it was an "mp3" kit and I prefer lossless sound. I was able to record in lossless audio formats using a program called Audacity. Audacity recognized it as a USB audio input and I was able to record it. It's very easy to use. If your turntable has red/white jacks, just use the plug cable and plug it into the adapter, then just plug the USB into your computer. I recorded 2 songs from recordings I transferred to mp3 with a previous USB player that I no longer have and compared a lossless WAV file I just recorded with this adapter. I noticed a significant improvement in sound quality. This is a great tool and I highly recommend it.
