I come back to Maxline every time.

I have just completed our 3rd Maxline installation in our shop and home shop and am now planning to expand the shop. I keep coming back to the Maxline product because it works, it's economical, easy to install and maintain, and it looks great. All of our blue leads are installed outside of the drywall for easy access, and we use additional black plastic clips 2-4 feet apart. Our CFM requirements are not very high, so we chose to use 1/2" tubing size, which helps with the economy of our systems. Some air machines are over 100 feet from the compressor and I wasn't sure if they were enough would get air so I planned to install a pressure tank in the aft engine room to act as a backup but it was never needed.80ft from source and some sprayers may require higher flow so during the expansion phase I plan to to complete the loop back to the source. This allows air to flow either way through the pipe to where it is needed. The attached picture shows this manifold which comes with the main kit and you can see the available second socket on the front which is currently disabled. all your NPT connections. I like to fold the tape in half (easier if you use 3/4". n) and then make 2 turns nice and tight right at the beginning of the threads. Then apply some paste around the ends of the strands and back about 1/4 "I use the blue napkins from the paper towel store and cut them into four pieces, then fold them to a small size and use them for cleaning. Pastes around the joint - You can fold these little pieces several times before tossing them and taking another one. Bernoulli principle and venturi effect, but there will still be some static pressure if you have a restriction in the flow tube. I understand the fittings need to fit the Maxline pipe and I just wish these parts were a little thinner in some cases This will encourage people to go for the 3/4" or even 1/2" Option to switch, but as long as we are doing well with our 1/2" system, at least until our CFM requirements increase. .It can be difficult to straighten the flex pipe. .I worked it on the floor with a helper after cutting it to the right length and I've also used a beautifully made Maxline aluminum straightener. The device helps but not as much as I'd like and honestly I think the design of the wheels needs improvement You can create your own plan using the plan available on the Maxline website, but I haven't tried it, although I probably would have if I hadn't bought that plan, assuming it would a better perform better than now. You end up working the pipe enough to be willing to put up with a few straightness errors, and then you put it in and it turns out to be better than expected. Working with a wizard, you can make small adjustments after the tube snaps into the clamps, and then step aside and realize it looks pretty good.
