I only need two seals for one toilet and four for the other. There are only two seals on the toilet, my daughter will not climb in. On the other hand, she can if she tries, but she needs enough effort to give me time to catch! lol. The one with more padding doesn't fit as tightly and can slide forward, which is enough to loosen it. But it does its job well, I don't see a way to make it any better, unless they come in sizes one and two (for narrow and wide rims), so only a spacer or two is needed. It is very easy to unlock and lock when you try to open the toilet. It basically gets the job done and unless you have a very narrow rim on your toilet (like mine) it should work just fine. But it works best on my wide-rimmed toilet.
