This cell phone car holder with CD slot fits my old car 2006 Mazda 6 model very well. I've tried many different phone holders in the past but they don't hold up that well, especially at high temperatures, they tend to lose the vacuum very quickly. This phone holder uses a different method but took advantage of my car's CD player. All I have to do is plug it into my car's CD player and lock it. The clamp is very easy to adjust to the size of your devices. I found it worked great with my S7 but if you use a silicone case it tends to slip through the clip and fall out. One thing I would like to improve is the clamp stabilization rubber. If it could extend to the entire mouth of the CD player, I think it would be more stable. Update: phone could not be held after 2 weeks of use.
