I won't blame the board for this as it seems to be common on several boards of this type such as the Seeeduino XIAO etc. I'm weird and I do all my embedded projects on a Chromebook. Arduino, esp32 and esp8266 devices connect to Linux and serial ports work and life becomes easier. There will be no M0 type boards and the Arduino IDE will not find them. Other than that, programming with makecode and the like works just fine. I really like the form factor and functionality in general. Need to figure out how to do more complex programming in makecode or find some other solution to keep this thing running in sleep mode.
