They do their job. for my opinion

A few weeks ago, I started having weird leg pain. Circulation issues run in my family (my dad especially) and the restless legs I’ve suffered with all my life were my first clue that I wouldn’t escape them. I also have tendons that don’t fully stretch and so am highly prone to "charley horse” cramps. At 40 years old, I knew I had to start taking steps to work on my circulation now. Since I have some compression leggings already, to wear with my running skirts/shorts in warmer weather (and maybe to wear on a plane sometime down the road). This pair from NuVein is plain black and it’s the lightest compression.I’ve worn them for several workouts already and I can definitely tell a difference in how my legs feel. The socks are comfortable in my workout shoes. I didn’t expect them to be as breathable as they are. However, let’s be real – these are knee length compression socks, and you’re not going to be as cool with them on as you would be with ankle socks and bare legs. The only con I have seen so far is that they’re hard to put on. Even following the instructions provided by the company, you have to basically wrestle them into submission. I’m reminded of the horrible, horrible tights my mother made me wear as a kid. But the relief I feel is actually worth it.I don’t like the way they look. But that hardly matters. They’re currently $14.99 on Revain right now, and to me they’re worth it.

Pros
  • Work well easier to get on than some very comfortable after they're on
Cons
  • You’d have to be a twig to wear these. I nearly got them around my toes.
