Review on πŸ”Š Vogel's Sound 3200 Speaker Wall Mount: Tiltable, Swiveling, Max. 11 lbs (5 kg) - Compatible with Denon Home 150, White, 1 Mount by Gary Stringfield

Great for those who don't want to drill holes in their new speakers.

The previous review mentioned that the rear screws on the rear clamp are not protected. They include a set of 6 thin strips that slide over the screw inlet behind the speaker for extra grip, but can actually act as a dent protector on the speaker. I didn't have to use screws as my speakers are 7lbs each but for heavier ones I would suggest to use these strips just above the screws. They stick to the mount pretty well, and if you want, a drop or two of Locktite will hold them in place indefinitely. Speaking of grip, it's pretty good, but depending on the speaker, some fancy wood bases have 1/4" below the main speaker, like mine, so the clips don't sit perfectly on the bottom of the speaker. For this case, I have the base on the back of the bracket and the front is angled slightly higher but high enough to clamp the lower front of the speaker with the grille attached for extra support. As they are lightweight this is not a problem and will not damage the speakers. Pivotability is determined by how far back the rear clamp is positioned. You can extend it as needed, but be careful when doing this with very large, heavy speakers. The first one took an hour to assemble as the instructions are rubbish and the screws are really, REALLY MISSING. The part next to the removed bolts after drilling the pilot holes in the studs. They had to contain the type of drill required by pilots, as too small a drill would result in you scolding the walls and those mounts. Buy a #8 GRK and use a 1/4" or 4mm drill bit first, you'll have a lot of fun and will take about 10 minutes to attach the base to the wall. or threads for screws. Make sure that you properly and thoroughly inspect EACH part in the box prior to assembly to ensure that all holes and parts are present and machined correctly. If something is missing, return it and contact the seller for a replacement. Those mounts are bloody expensive, but I think you're paying more for the convenience of not punching holes in your new $400 speakers.
