Review on πŸ”ͺ SOG Throwing Knives Set: Balanced 3-Pack with Paracord Handles and Pro Sheath by Jonathan Jensen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Steel is softer than expected

My first set of throwing knives so take that into account in this review as I'm not an expert and having metal of this composition can be desirable. After I learned to throw, around my 3-4. After a 10 minute throwing session at a dead acacia tree, I noticed that the tips were actually bent! Def is softer steel than expected, although dead locust is very hard wood. It's important to bend back and forth (without bending the blade) in a "smart" direction when releasing and breaking loose from the target. I liked tossing them around and when the paracord gets cut or cut I simply melt it with a lighter and then quickly flatten and harden the melted cord with a piece of steel. If they were expensive I would rate them lower but for the price I still think they're decent. Now let's look for something stronger.
