I used this for my 12 month old daughter. Until recently, I only brushed my teeth with water, but her doctor recommended using a non-fluoride toothpaste to get rid of the milky breath that can happen. TOOTHBRUSH: • Unfortunately, she hates this toothbrush. The finger toothbrush is huge! I can barely put a toothbrush in her mouth. He is too big. Now I will mention that my daughter is rather short. She weighs 17 pounds at 12 months. However, this toothbrush is recommended for 3 months old children. I can't imagine that working for a small child. • The burrs on the toothbrush are VERY small. They clean almost nothing. • All sides of the teeth are NOT cleaned at the same time. It is NOT faster than a regular toothbrush. The gap between the two sides of the toothbrush is too far apart. This means you have to brush the front and back of your teeth separately. • The finger toothbrush fits my fingers easily and fits larger fingers easily. It sits comfortably and doesn't slip. TOOTHPASTE: • Toothpaste is great. My daughter usually fights with me when I brush my teeth. She also has 3 molars that erupt at the same time. I give her a taste of the toothpaste before I start brushing her teeth and once she finds that she likes the taste she lets me brush her teeth. Tastes great and gets rid of milky breath. It is also safe for the baby as it does not contain fluoride. • I wish the ingredients were a little better. more natural. BUT that's just me. I've been an ingredient hunter and obsessed with organic since my daughter was born. Overall, I can recommend this toothpaste, but I advise you to keep looking for a better toothbrush.
