Just use a regular brush

I wanted to like them and the reviews were great but they didn't work for me. You can see from the photos that you can't use them in the same way as a pen or marker (I've used the Sharpie brand before and you can use them just like a marker and color in the same circular way). . The amount of color in them is minimal. The squid here has a head of about 4.5 inches and a mark barely covers it. The narwhal is actually 3 different pink colors because I ran out of paint and had to repaint with the acrylic paint I had. After the first marker ran out I tried casually covering it with a pink #two over it all to make it look uniform in color and it looked like a 5 year old did it. You have to draw a line which is very annoying instead of using it like a regular marker. If I wanted to do that, I would use a brush.

Pros
  • Lacquer material
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
