The hose was severely bent in several places, which made handling difficult. The shut-off valve is not in a suitable location. There's almost no suction and it's difficult to start, although the trigger ball helps with that. It also lacked the threaded portion of the bracket that holds it to the side of the tank, which is fine as you wouldn't use a gravel vacuum like this. However, it was advertised as being so. I would not buy this product again. i give it back
