No more smelly sponge!

This is one of the best exchanges I've done in the last year. I've always hated the smell and extravagance of ordinary kitchen sponges. These sponges are easy to clean and dry quickly. They appear to be free of bacteria and other germs like sponges, which means they last longer. If you wash a lot of knives with it, they'll lose a few papillae, but that doesn't seem to reduce their effectiveness. Haven't tried cooking one yet (because I don't have to) but I think it's a good way to sterilize them.
