This case is unlike any other case. i should know I've gone through most of them. I have flat feet and a subtalar fusion (along with the occasional planter fasciitis) - which basically means I have swelling and pain. Other sleeves were either too tight, too loose, or in the wrong place. There are many bones in the foot and many different problems. THIS case is like a second skin. This multi-directional compression means it works the same everywhere on the foot. It has medium to heavy compression which is great for injuries. It's comfortable enough to wear to avoid injury while playing sports (or just walking like I did). The KEY is to measure correctly first. Order a flexible tape measure - they're cheap. A good fit of these sleeves is invaluable. If it fits, then it works! If it doesn't fit you, don't give up, just choose a better size for yourself, because this is your dream come true! I have already ordered more. 'Cause I'll always have a sore ankle, but I won't always have that sleeve. (It also works under tires, which helped a lot with my initial injury when tires alone weren't enough). Put on your regular sock and put on your shoes. It's thin enough not to cause any problems or discomfort. Anyone who takes the time to get it right gets my vote for the Nobel Prize without pain!
