Review on 🍪 Set of 2 Chicago Metallic Commercial II Traditional Uncoated Jelly-Roll Pans, 16-3/4 by 12-Inch by Jun Merritt

I wanted to make this review because the Frying Pan is first and foremost THE BEST. I mean it's really good quality. It won't crease, bake evenly, and won't stick to food, especially when used with a Silpat mat or plain parchment paper. 'Friends'. It has high sides, is easy to hold, and is heavy enough to hold a full cookie shape without wobbling or twisting. If you've ever made Christmas breakfast for 16 hungry people and had to fill a baking sheet with as many cookies as possible to keep everyone full, you'd know how important it is. ;-) The second reason why I'm reviewing has to do with the given "size" of the pan. I've ordered quite a few of these over the years, both for myself and as gifts. When I came back to order this year I found that my old 18x13 pan was no longer available. It was changed to 16 3/4 x 12. What? Is it actually a smaller frying pan? I looked up and down and even tried to ask the sellers if it was the same as the old 18x13. I noticed that the Silpats I ordered with this pan are the same size as always and after reading a negative review saying the size was wrong I took a chance and ordered them. This is the same skillet I always ordered. ordered. Why is the size changing? I suspect this is because the measurements are now "internal" measurements and not "actual" frying pan measurements, which is a bit misleading given the current negative review. So a great pan. This is half a sheet size, but generally it is larger than the listed size. Just keep that in mind if you decide to use this pan in a smaller than regular sized oven.
