First of all, the lid on the larger container arrived broken. Not just a chip or scratch, but you can see in the pictures the lid is in two pieces. There are exposed nails on the larger piece. I suppose I could try to tap down the nails and glue these pieces together but why should I have to do that on a brand new (and not cheap) item. Second, it is very thin. Both of them were dented and slightly disfigured just by touching each other in transit. They were boxed well, so just normal shipping caused damage. Third, the smell is very strong and strange, and there is no way I would put items my dog will eat into these containers. The design is cute, but they are not usable or worth the money.
