Review on 🧴 Cornucopia Brands: Reliable 8 Ounce Plastic Bottles for Various Uses by Laura Thomas

Great for dispensing fatty oil

I needed something to dispense liquid cod liver oil. For example, something that wasn't a real teaspoon, that wasn't meant to be poured. I looked at the scientific community before realizing that I didn't have to spend a hundred dollars to get a quantitative liquid volume. I did some digging and found that the manufacturer says 1 pump = about 2cc = about 2ml. 1 teaspoon = 5ml so I wanted to cut back a bit but I took a chance. Well, it turns out that viscosity affects volume per pump, and after a week of repeated testing, I'm dispensing exactly half a teaspoon per pump. So 2 pumps = my teaspoon of oil. The same goes for extra virgin olive oil. And 6 pumps = one tablespoon. Perfect for slow cooking, counting calories etc. I didn't want a 4 pack but now I have 2 with oil, one with lotion which stays at the bottom of the lotion bottle and one with shampoo so I have more shelf space in my shower than one giant bottle of Costco shampoo. I can't believe I'll be buying more but now I want one for dish soap and one for creamer (serving size = 6 pumps hehe). I am very impressed with myself and equally impressed with these pump bottles. . They are well made, easy to clean and look good. To dry a bottle properly, fold a paper towel loosely and slide it in to let air in and out, and place it upside down on a dish rack or something with a hole (I used the hole in a coffee maker).
