I used two of these lights to mount under cabinets in the laundry room but I installed and wired them as if they were much more expensive wired LED lights. Excellent results and the price can only rejoice. I bought the 16 inch model. They come with two mounting screws and 1.5m white cables - perfect for our white cabinets. I tested the lights by plugging them in, then measured and installed the mounting screws under the cabinets. The tricky part of any "tough" lighting project is routing the wires and installing the switch, which I'm quite comfortable with. I replaced our single box on the wall with a double box, routed the cables to the cabinets, and installed the single box under the cabinets to hide them well. Under the cabinet with trim clips, cut the power cord connectors and connect them to the 14 gauge wire I routed inside the box. A proper professional installation costs about 60% of the cost of using "hard" equipment. If you'd rather just plug them in and use the switch on the device, that works well too. But the extra few hours to get the switch and covert deployment up and running makes the installation more professional and convenient. Good light - like warm white, bright enough.
