Clips keep hangers from getting tangled.
Good quality, solid wood. The top of the hangers rotate when you need to flip something. The clips are good and strong. They easily hold knee-high suede boots. My only criticism of the design is that the clips take up a lot of extra space and can easily get tangled together if you hang them too close. Would buy again if I couldn't find clips with a better design.
