it's not me - it's my wife's opinion you really need. And here is her opinion. What she likes: The WEIGHT makes rolling out dough MUCH EASIER than using a wooden rolling pin. NOT CORRECT. It's still sticky, but with a little flour it came off just fine. I want the rolling pin to be wider (say 15 inches) to make a larger diameter pie crust. Rings (see picture) attached to each end of the rolling pin (they come in pairs from 1/8" to 3/8" thick. She placed them on the rolling pin and was able to roll out the dough EXACTLY THICKNESS that (pie crust = 1/8 inch sugar cookies = 3/8 inch BEST, MOST EFFECTIVE sugar cookies she's ever made, no thin spots to burn or thick spots not yet baked. PERFECT! HAPPY HUSBAND -- his wife's gave this article for 45 years of family happiness!
