Review on πŸ’¨ AC Infinity AIRCOM S10 Quiet Cooling Blower Fan System for Receivers, Amps, DVRs, and AV Cabinet Components - 17 Inch Front Exhaust by Robert Hayes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good for processors, but larger amps may require higher CFM.

System works, well made and very quiet. However, I believe they should have options to move devices. Larger air volume, 250 CFM+ for rack/cabinet use for large amps for front outlet. In a 4x7 equipment closet, I have a 72U open skelton rack - no sides or backs. Cold air is drawn in from behind, and there is an exhaust system in front of the rack on the ceiling to pull warm air out of the room. I took this approach for the front exhaust because having all the wires on the back disrupts airflow and needs to dissipate heat as quickly as possible. I use an S10 on a processor and an S10 on a Monolith 7 amp that sits on top of another Monolith 7 amp - the amps are on separate shelves about 1.5 inches apart. So from top to bottom we have S10, Processor, S10, Amp, Amp.β€”. All of this takes up the bottom of the rack. The top half of the rack is used for UPS, media, automation, etc. I'm using Smart mode on both S10s and they both turn on and rise according to independent temperature readings. I'm still taking the temps on the bottom amp to see if I need another S10 to keep it cool. Another thought I want to try is to close the gap on the sides so the fans only get air out of the slots. above the amplifier. So check if the amp runs cooler. I'll update the review once I'm done with more testing.
