We bought this for a number of reasons. The ceramic coating is by far the safest coating. With normal use, this coating does NOT emit invisible gases that are harmful to us and our animals. The pan is built on a solid steel base, making it durable and conducting heat evenly. The pan is very slippery, nothing sticks, so it is very easy to clean. The rolled edges are carefully coated to prevent food from sticking. We love this product and bought a large skillet and then a 9x13 cake pan. We are very happy with the product. Highly recommended, don't hesitate to buy.
