Works well but you'll have to spend a lot of grommets before you learn. A YouTube video helped, but I found the person demonstrating this was moving too fast and I had to pause and rewind several times before seeing what he was doing. I could have gotten closer. It's quite difficult to line up the eyelets perfectly between the jaws before you press them together. Just a hair in the alignment of the upper and/or lower jaw and you've lost another ear. The rest of the tool works well once you get the hang of it. Perhaps magnetizing the jaws to help align the cleats would be an improvement? Also, the symbol engraved on the side of the jaw is confusing and looks wrong (upside down) and what does the little arrow next to it mean? The attached paper instructions with step by step photos (close ups) would help.
