This gray pen is good for temporary coverage between colors. There are a few cons: (1) You can't put too much effort into covering the gray because the wand tip fell off the first wand I used. (2) If your hair color is not exactly the same, it will look a little obvious. (3) If you touch your hair where you used the wand, it will rub against your hands. The paint still covers the gray, but the remnants fall on the hands (although easily erased). All in all I think it's a good temporary cover.
