I have ordered all 3 of these outdoor/indoor pet heating pads. They have timers and they have a few different temps but don't get warm enough for cats etc. These type of heaters are waterproof, I live in the mountains of California and our nights are still cold. I have two 8 year old cats. A farro is very cute, but he doesn't let himself be touched and sometimes comes into the house. I thought keeping him warmer in a covered spot outside of the house would work, but it wasn't warm/warm enough, nor is it soft. It's a black hard plastic board with a thin, padded lid over the board, but it doesn't cover the bottom either! Pillow 2 I thought my other 8 year old cat would love being in the house because she loves being near the fireplace and on the electric blanket on the bed. He also showed no interest in this type of heating pad! I thought a 3rd heating pad would be good for hens around the house or garage temporarily, but the heating pad is small and the cape wouldn't work on them either. This is a great idea but didn't work for my animals! If I find I'm doing something wrong, I'll report back with an update.
