Review on Lentek PB1TC Boundary Additional Transmitter by Jeremy Jackz

This is a contactless device consisting of a base unit and a key fob that attaches to a pet's collar. The base unit is designed to emit an ultrasonic sound when a pet with a key fob approaches 10 feet. It has a switch that toggles to cat or dog. My experience: 1. Its proximity sensor works sporadically at best.2. Doors and fluorescent lamps interfere with the reception of the base station. Its range is not adjustable.3. Ultrasound can be heard throughout the house and despite the cat/dog switch, dogs ALWAYS hear it. Not at all pleasant.4. The key fobs require nickel sized computer batteries that need to be replaced in quantities of 4 to 5 every two weeks. Technical support is poor. In fact, they dropped two of my four calls!
