This is a great selection of hair clips. There are many sizes and shapes that are perfect for my long but very fine hair. I usually buy 3.5 to 4 inch claws to gather all the hair at once and small ones for a partial updo. The five clasps are made of celluloid acetate and have a beautifully smooth surface that is characteristic of this material. Two of these have a traditional tortoiseshell design (one honey brown and one tan) and the rest have different colored coiled springs and there's a large plastic clip which I'll probably use the least - it's lighter than celluloid acetate clips and maybe not so unbreakable, but he has a very strong hold. It has a matte finish and added internal prongs/pets to prevent stray hairs from falling out. And finally, my new favourites. There are two light metal hair clips. They have a clean, minimalist look that I like, and they're well made and durable. I was a bit concerned they would be harsh or awkward as I'm so used to the resolution in the font. I also thought they might just slip out of my hair as that's normal for a baby. However, they work great and are comfortable and hold my hair very securely throughout the day. I'm wearing one right now. I'm always looking for new hair accessories so I'm glad I found them; I can use them all. The current price of $17.88 for this set of eight hair clips seems very reasonable.
