It is possible to use any of the 3 colors together, for example if you are connected to a 12 AWG main wire with a yellow T-Tap connector, you can separate it from a drop wire with a red connector and 18 AWG wire to the bulb . .I've found them to be really helpful when connecting internal 12v RV lights. It takes a once or twice to learn how to squeeze them together properly, but once you've done that you can quickly connect the T-arms. The blades are very tight for a good connection. Overall they did the job I wanted and they saved me time and saved me time at work.
