Review on 🎒 Versatile and Stylish JuJuBe Backpack from the Everyday Collection by Randy Bin

I have three children and this is my third diaper bag. My first was the JuJuBe shoulder bag. I loved the quality and the colors and it held up great until my second child was born and I needed more space. I switched to the SkipHop Grand Central bag which was great until my third child was about 9 months old. After that, it was just too big and unwieldy to use. Our days were different now. I had one kid who was potty trained, one who was almost potty trained but only in their underwear, and a third started potty training but with pull ups. Also, our trips became longer and longer day trips as the daytime naps diminished. And with three kids literally running around me, I needed my hands now more than before. This backpack is perfect in every way except for a few small things. It was nice at first. I know it sounds silly but I still wanted my bag to be attractive and the black rose design was beautiful enough so that it wouldn't look out of place when we're going to a wedding and I need to get dressed. I can wear leggings and sneakers at the same time and it still works. We travel frequently and this bag is small enough to meet the "personal items" requirements of some airlines. It fits perfectly under airplane seats when full. I like the slimmer design when carrying it (I'm small, 5" tall and lots of pockets make me look choked up). Full-open zippers make it easy to find things, and the front exterior pockets are great for my personal items. I love that the bag is big enough to fit my laptop or tablet and a planner when I'm on my way to work. For kids there is enough space for water bottles, snacks, a wet bag with a change of clothes for each child, crayons and a coloring book, lunch if needed etc. We always had enough space to pack anything I needed. for a day trip. It also had stroller hooks (found in a mesh bag. I didn't find them until we were out traveling so you really have to dig to find them). The fabric is washable and the bag is machine washable. The set also includes a changing mat. The bag is well made for the price. The zippers work smoothly, the bag keeps its shape and is comfortable to wear for long periods of time, even when fully loaded. I think it lacks some structure that the more expensive JJB bags have, but that's not a problem for me (expecting it to hold its shape) when we travel, and a lighter bag is preferable. Now for the cons. My biggest disappointment is that I really hate that there is no external bottle pocket. Yes, there is a zippered bottle pocket, but I need something that allows quick access to items with one hand and doesn't get in the way of the zipper. I've found that I really miss this feature. With previous bags, I've used this bag for everything from water bottles to a phone pocket at the park to a quick snack bag. Internal mesh pockets are minimal and low. We don't really care, but it does mean there's a lot of stuff stacked in there and you have to open everything up to find what you want instead of rummaging around in different bags. The changing pad is flimsy and cheap compared to the more expensive JuJuBe bag pads. I think my old JJB pillow was memory foam which makes it very comfortable for toddlers. This one has no lining. I liken it to a waterproof pad that you put between your baby and the surface you change clothes on. It has no padding. Perhaps you prefer to switch to a different pad. My youngest is now 2 years old and luckily we've only made a few changes so it's really just a backup (either great for installing potty car seats to protect the seat or putting it under your butt if the park benches are wet). and your children play. The clips for the stroller aren't very good either. I had trouble getting the straps into the clips and didn't like the bag wiggling at the top handle. But technically they are, and technically they work. Overall I've been using this bag for a few months now and really like the versatility and smaller size of this backpack. It would have been great if it had just a few adjustments, but overall I'm happy with my purchase. If you're a parent who likes to take EVERYTHING with you except an extra change of clothes, a few toys, snacks, a blanket, etc., this might seem a bit on the small side. But since the mother of three is always on the go, it's a great size for storing everything you need in a space that's also a manageable size.
