Baby Healthy Reusable Straws

This pack of 4 reusable straws has some unique features that make them appealing to parents or carers of the elderly. This pack of 4 straws actually contains 8 pieces, 4 large straws and 4 angled straw mouthpieces. All eight parts are made of food-safe silicone with colorful stripes. For optimal use, you must insert the mouthpiece into the stem part. The straw is quite wide, especially the barrel-shaped part, so it works well for milkshakes with chunks or smoothies with chunks of fruit. I haven't tried it, but I doubt it will work for bubble tea. You can use the walking part alone, but this has two disadvantages. First, the silicone for the barrel is thin. So if you take out a thick milkshake, the keg can close under pressure. Second, the barrel itself will be too short for most goggles. If you need a longer straw you can add the mouthpiece to the top and bottom of the barrel for extra length, but then the glass needs to be wide to accommodate the angled curves at the top and bottom. I think they are good for reusable use. Straws for young children and the elderly with health problems. I've tried stainless steel straws and children or elderly people with dementia can dent them and they can even sharpen around parts of the mouth. This is not a problem with silicone straws. In addition, cleaning the wide parts of the straw is easy with a pipe cleaning brush. The only drawback I see is the long service life. The mouthpieces appear to be shaped into cylinders and I think they will hold up. But the barrels are thin walled and I believe they were formed as a flat sheet of silicone that was cut, rolled into a cylinder and then taped together because the seam is visible on them. I think that with heavy use by children or elderly people with health problems, parts of the barrel will crack or fall apart after a while. But even if they last a year under heavy use, it's worth it, and there's a lot less single-use plastic in landfills.
