Very soft, incredibly elastic. The legs were a bit long but they stayed tucked in thanks to the nice elasticated cuffs. (Hind legs could fit a bit better but she has small chicken thighs so 😂) I think we could have made a smaller size if the neck was looser but it was definitely as tight as we could make it. Her back covers her ponytail but she doesn't seem to mind and was taking her best nap while we put it on. Feels warm enough when it's cold outside, but breathable enough not to get hot inside. In general, I will definitely buy another color. She's very obviously happy with it, and she's very headstrong (and spoiled! 😂). She weighs 3-4 pounds, has rather squat but short legs. The small size is best for your neck, but as said, the legs and back can be a little big.
